The More Specificity, The Better The Outcome and Results

Where History Meets Modern Concepts

Attending the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic and receiving Motion Palpation training at the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) under the mentorship of Dr. Leonard John Faye, DC, offers an exceptional chiropractic experience.

Embracing the philosophical principles of Palmer Chiropractic didn't prevent me from also embracing the science-based concepts of assessment, palpation, and adjustment techniques imparted by my instructors. My time at MPI enabled me to transform my chiropractic practice towards an evidence-based, integrated, functional model by excelling in world-class training in motion palpation assessment, functional movement evaluation, and contemporary chiropractic treatment methods utilizing the two most powerful tools known to humanity: the brain and the hands.

Each Adjustment Encounter is Unique

In contrast to many chiropractic experiences, you won't receive a generic adjustment that is given to every patient in a routine manner. Each time Dr. Johnson meets with you, an assessment will be conducted to determine the specific adjustments needed for that day. Additionally, a post-test will assess whether any further adjustments are necessary. Over the years, I've observed many of my peers becoming complacent, offering services that deviate significantly from their college training, which has unfortunately contributed to some of the negative perceptions of chiropractors.

Diverse toolkit

In my practice, I embrace a diverse toolkit to ensure comprehensive care, recognizing that each method has its unique role and irreplaceable value. For instance, when a chiropractic adjustment is called for, nothing else can quite replicate its specific benefits. Similarly, laser therapy, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF), muscle lengthening and strengthening methods such as Trigenics® each offer distinct advantages that cannot be substituted. Imagine it like a well-balanced orchestra, where each instrument contributes to the harmony of the whole. I particularly rely on motion palpation as a diagnostic compass, guiding me where to perform adjustments and after to verify the completion of a quality adjustement for if more fine-tuning is neded. Motion palpation is crucial for pinpointing the precise timing and direction needed to optimize movement in motion segments. It's akin to a GPS for the body, helping me navigate which spinal segment(s) and/or extremities require attention, ensuring a holistic approach that addresses the entire body. By integrating these methods, I aim to create a symphony of healing that resonates throughout the body.
